The books, maps and archives collections held in DePaul’s Special Collections department include rare, fragile and unique primary source materials. To ensure that these materials are preserved for generations of future researchers, access to the items is exclusive to our reading room located in Room 314 of the Richardson Library. Upon arrival, researchers will sign in at our desk where we will check your bag and coat, take requests for materials in our collections and page the items from our closed stacks for use.
