How to renew material borrowed from DePaul or I-Share libraries:
Go to the library web site (library.depaul.edu). Under Services, click My Account/Renew and log in with the username and password you created for your I-Share account (If you do not have an account, click Create New Account, and enter the requested information. Your borrower ID is the 14-digit number on the back of your DePaul ID). Click Checked Out Items, select the items you wish to renew, and click Renew Selected Items.
At the Lincoln Park and Loop campus libraries, renew your books at the Access Services desk (front desk by the entrance). You can also renew books at at our suburban campus libraries anytime the library is staffed (see Library hours ). No need to bring the books with you, just your DePaul ID.
How many renewals?
Students may renew 3 times (a total of 4x4 weeks)
Faculty/academic staff may renew 6 times (a total of 7x4 weeks). Need more time? Request a copy from another I-Share institution, or ask your library liaison to consider purchasing it for DePaul's collection.
Inter library loan (ILLiad) books
Usually once -- see separate instructions for renewing interlibrary loan materials via ILLiad
Note: Various circumstances related to the item or your account might prevent you from renewing. If you cannot renew, please call (773) 325-7895 for information.
