Off-campus access to online resources is only available to current DePaul students, faculty, and staff. A wide range of open access (free) online research tools are available to anyone from anywhere.

On-campus access to most of our databases is available to those alumni able to come into the Library. Use our Ask a Librarian service to confirm you will be able to access what you need before coming in. 

Chicago Public Library offers remote access to many of its subscription databases. Chicago residents can apply for an electronic library card without visiting the library in person. Check with your own local public library to see what online resources it offers to residents.
