The Lincoln Park John T. Richardson Library 24-hour book drop is open for returns and is located outside the west quad-side library entrance to Kelly Hall behind the statue of Louise de Marillac. See map and photo below. 

The downtown Loop Library book drop is located in the wall to the right of the library entrance on the 10th Floor of DePaul Center. NOTE: Access to this book drop is subject to the DePaul Center building hours which may vary.

Electronic equipment and technology returns are not accepted via any book drop. If you are unable to return such items in-person, please contact us at libnotice@depaul.edu. We will provide prepaid shipping label and instructions for packing up equipment to return via mail. The following are examples of what NOT to place in bookdrops: 

  • Cameras, tripods, webcams
  • Calculators
  • Phone/laptop chargers, cables, and cords
  • Video games and game consoles
  • Tablets
  • Headphones
